Dada Strain Tees x Subscription Upgrades
Become an annual paid subscriber and receive one of the last first-edition "Rhythm Improvisation Community" t-shirts for free
The word is out! The first edition of Dada Strain merch has been an unequivocal success. Spotted across all U.S. time-zones, in Canada and Mexico, the UK and continental Europe, these 100% cotton black tees with the white writing have been worn as points of pride and social intention.
Shout-out to Caroline and Chris, Paul and Barbie (and Rocco), Emma and Bex, Dori and Matty, Tim and Richard, Shara and Lesley, Ariella and Hamid, Jake and Daniel, Seth and Ozzie, Andy and Joe, and all the others who’ve worn theirs with pride, or sent me images of “Dada Strain in the wild.” And of course, bug thanks to Studio JTK for designing it!
100 were originally printed, and only a handful remain in stock. And before the next piece of Dada Strain merch comes to life—yes, the next one is already on the drawing board—I would like to find homes for these last 17 black tee-shirts.
When contemplating on how best to distribute these leftovers, I had an idea that would achieve two goals: giving the tees away to the first readers who upgrade their subscription from free to Annual paid ($50) — or maybe even to Founding Member ($250 and higher - a writer can dream). Are you interested? If so keep reading.
There are only 17 tees left:
4 x Small,
5 x Large
8 x XL
NO Mediums (sorry, those flew out).
All sizes and orders will be filled first come, first served. Please upgrade your subscription, and then email me at DadaStrainBklyn@gmail.com. Please include your address and t-shirt size. Generally, I would like to do one t-shirt per order. But all of them must go. So if you upgrade your subscription and want a second tee, they’re $30 + shipping.
I feel immensely blessed to enjoy working on Dada Strain, and find this work crucial at a time of great societal cruelty and institutional malfeasance. And making sloganeering t-shirts that advertise what side we might be on is, in this day and age, part of the effort. No, educated consumerism is NOT the same as community work. But I do believe that your paid contributions and participation here aren’t simply helpful to the continuation of Dada Strain, but help inform the entire social musicking environment outside the algorithmic and corporate media control. And I am very proud to be part of that environment.
Thank you for your interest, for reading, listening, following and supporting Dada Strain.
